Do you want to go away too?

This sermon was preached at the 1015 Mass. It's two minutes longer than the other recording. Inspiration? Hopefully, but who knows? Sometimes the Spirit nudges us to go in a certain direction. People say: "That sermon was meant for me." Maybe so. My prayer aways is: "Lord, give me your words. I have plenty of my own!

Don't settle for less!

This sermon was delivered August 2, 2009 at the 5pm Eucharist. Will have to turn up volume because of michrophone placement. On "green" season quest to learning to be disciples of Jesus in our time. We find ourselves in Chapter 6 of John's Gospel containing hard teaching of Jesus resulting in the departure of many of his disciples "who no longer went about with him." We want our "fill of the loaves," but do we want Jesus and his will?
